This 2-story custom home is located on top of Green Bluff, a semi-farming and domestic community about 20 miles North of Spokane, Washington. Out of the city limits by a few miles, the local area is a plateau, about 2400 feet above sea level, mostly orchards, alfalfa, and other farming products, with easy access, paved roads, which are on the local school bus routes and maintained year around. Most utilities are current and available. The surrounding neighbors are distant enough for privacy, but close enough for times of need. Most of the neighbors do "their own thing", but are friendly should you need assistance. The 10 acres has many possibilities, including continuing the existing crop of hay/grass, kit flying, RC airplanes, large animals, such as horses, etc. There's a variety of wild animals occasionally "roam" over this and neighboring properties including deer, elk, moose and overhead hawks. Neighbors have the "usual" pets such as cats and dogs.
Spokane's a medium size city of around 200,000 population with a variety of careers, life styles, and sports, summer and winter. There are numerous lakes within a reasonable drive. State highways generally, are very well maintained. It's about 300 miles inland (From Seattle), thus, is the heart of the "Inland Empire" of Eastern Washington. The humidity is low, both in Summer and Winter. Spokane is served by several highways, including Interstate-90 coverage coast to coast, two airports, one being major with flights to most major cities. Spokane has many restaurants, hotels, parks and many other recreational activities, about 20 minutes away. Local grocery and gas stores are 10 minutes away.
If you wish some exclusion from the busy-city life, yet, close enough for all the modern conveniences this is the place for you and your family.
You can add services, such as Internet, burglar, fire alarms, etc easily because most of the pre-wiring has be performed during construction in 1993.
Some areas are "roughed-in" so you can finish them to your particular wants. Examples are the basement concrete floor can be tiled, carpeted or just left bare. Another example is the original door locks can be changed to your security needs and keyed alike for family/friends, etc.

Take a tour. For larger pictures, just click your mouse on the center of the picture you wish to enlarge. Some of them are rather large, in case you are on a dial-up. For high speed access this should be a breeze.
Though the mud room.....
The Kitchen area......
The Main Bath.....
Also next to the bathroom, and hallway is one bedroom on the main floor
This presently is set up for an office. If wanted, this room could be changed back to a third bedroom, with a divider.
Living Room...with (built-in) lighting.
In 2007 the living room hallways and all closets were upgrade to wood laminate floors which makes cleaning very easy.
The Foyer......and upstairs......and downstairs the full basement.
The Master suite, with sitting area......
Master bathroom...
Just off the master bedroom is a balcony for viewing out in the summer to relax.
Downstairs, the basement....wash room, etc.
The shop (left picture) has ample room for many tools and wide, very strong benches for most any type of a project. The "painting" room (right picture) has good lighting for most any project. That room is heated and insulated. Carpet floor.
More outside pictures...
The back yard has a lower (covered) patio area, with a retaining wall. Great place for barbecue, party, entertaining, etc. The ceiling for the patio has can lighting and is roughed-in wires for external speakers, that work off the (existing) FM radio/cassette in the kitchen.
Here's a nice idea and touch, with a "wall" dividing the in and outside of the yard. In places where the yard/grade is low, there's some "markings" in the concrete to play with it a little.
Side view of the shop building. If you notice below the "Christmas tree (looks pretty when lighted) there's a pair of little rings coming out of the ground, as the right picture shows. Since this is a nice area to park a boat or travel trailer, you have the option of "locking" it up as a deterrent. These rings go 4 foot in the ground with a lot of weight attached to them!.
You can access the basement inside the house, or directly via the garage steps.........
In the winter you have the choice just to leave it natural.....or
make some tracks with your skis or snowmobile
There's a small fenced off area, by the shop to grow your own veggies. It's fun to watch them grow up in the spring !
and just the usual details around the home, starting with the fencing plan, a little painting and the addition of a lean-to on the side of the shop. This lean-to is open on each end, however, with the roof there's a ton of storage area, just to get out of the rain and snow. (13 x 60 foot).
This home was listed in the M.L.S. #26025088 in 2007 for $569,900 which was high. Therefore, if you are at all interested in this home please make an offer and you may find the owner is motivated to sell for thousands less.
* Aerial picture was taken in the mid '90's, before driveway changes. Some surrounding houses may be different in appearance.
This is the map the locals use to locate the farmers and orchards on Green Bluff. It's not to scale.
